You didn’t have to see Holly’s recent “Uncle Tom” protest mix at Sink to know she’s no second-class VJ. Holly’s been pushing the visuals scene to the forefront with an interview in DJ Magazine (UK) and an upcoming hour-long mix on Joost. While other VJs program with Jitter™ she programs with JIGGLE, and tonight’s girly show will be more in your face than ever: Big, Beautiful, and From Another Planet!

Time OutTime Out New York’s featured Around Town pick for Friday night!

The EyeWash 2008 Spring Season begins on March 7th. This month marks our 5th anniversary and to celebrate EyeWash is going 3D! Don’t miss this special event where veteran video artists move their material right off the screen and take you into the next dimension. 3D glasses will be provided, and Monkeytown’s menu is superb!

Ben Neill and Mimi Goese at Serralves Em Festa

40 hours non-stop festival in Porto, Portugal. I’m helping out with the visuals for “mutant trumpet” inventor Ben Neill and vocalist Mimi Goese (Hugo Largo). Haunting, beautiful music with a hint of the pastoral and a splash of Mahler and Debussy! Working with these two accomplished artists is an exciting challenge as I navigate the dynamics between Niell’s post-electronic soundscapes and Goese’s lyrical imagery.

Benneill Mimigeosefrom the festival website:

My first sampling performance at EyeWash was all retrocinema and Ziegfeld showgirls! If ou can name the four films sampled here you are a winner!
