Legend (1985)
If you haven’t seen the director’s cut of Legend, you’ve seen a very different version than Ridley Scott intended. Less “adventure” and more storybook, the director’s cut features an orchestral score (I liked the distinctive Tangerine Dream soundtrack, anachronistic it may be), and instead of a boy-to-man story for blah Tom Cruise we see delightful Mia Sara take center stage learning her power of influence over the men, and the damage an arrogant girl can wield playing games of love.
