Heaven
Where is Heaven? What does it look like? Since Mt Olympus and probably earlier, Heaven is the home of the Gods, filled with etherial wonders, spectral colors, and gossamer entities. Heaven is always above the Earth, both figuratively and literally. A place of perfection high in the clouds or even in space….
“If the man who observes the myriad stars, and considers that they and their innumerable satellites move in their serene dignity through the heavens, each swinging clear of the other’s orbit–if, I say, the man who sees this cannot realise the Creator’s attributes without the help of the book of Job, then his view of things is beyond my understanding.” –Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Astral Plane
Classical mythology is depicted in the constellations, realistic night sky or highly stylized cartoon stars. Space panoramas turn under rays of heavenly light.
Photoreal Clouds
These photoreal clouds have been mapped onto 3D forms so they can be moved, animated, or even stretched around the inside of a tunnel for a flying effect (see below).
Kaleidescopic and Panoramic Clouds
These are the “photoreal” clouds layered over panoramic sky environments: cloud on cloud. The effect might be mistaken for actual sky video, but with a sense of dizzying spin like a kaleidescope.
Spectral Lights
A combination of the slow-moving photoreal clouds over audioreactive light/laser effects. The colors can be tuned to match decor and environment, and their speed and intensity adjusted to suit the mood of the music.
Heaven’s Helpers
Small sprites flit and fly around the clouds suggesting helper angels. These sprites could be changed to photorealistic or iconic angels or cherubs.
Gossamer
For the “protestant” view of the Divine, I’ve provided these gossamer images that react and glow with the rhythms of music.
Abstract
Abstract audio-reactive glowing bands of light suggesting harpstrings, rays of light, etc. Additional content can be placed in front.
Arizona
This is a seemless border of clouds at the horizon that bounces along to the beat. Additional content can be inserted into the empty area above the clouds.
Pink Puff
a computer generated puffy cloud can be manipulated live to the beat. Any content can be added in front or behind.
Miami Neon
“Miami” is a stylized treatment of the puffy clouds in a neon environment. Sort of the Olivia Newton John movie Xanadu idea of Heaven set in an art deco diner. Additional content can be inserted in front or behind the clouds.
Stardust
Stardust combines the puffy “Miami” clouds with tiny floating particles to create an etherial effect of shooting stars and lighter-than-air sparkels that dance and flash to the beats.
Audio Lines
Dynamic audio lines create a graphic departure layered over cloud imagery.
