Logan’s Run (1976)

In the 23rd Century humans live in The City of Domes, a sealed utopia run by computers that provide for every need and pleasure. There’s just one catch: on their 30th birthday they take a ride on Carousel where they are either Renewed and their lifeclock turned back or disintigrated in a burst of flames — never mind that no one has ever actually been Renewed…. To the computers’ dismay not everyone is happy with this situation. Micheal York stars as the Sandman recruited to hunt down over 1000 “Runners” who may have cheated death and escaped to a place called Sanctuary.
